| PLOT SYNOPSIS for Mobile Suit Z Gundam: A New Translation (Movie) |
 |
| Complete Japanese title is 'Kidou Senshi Zeta Gundam: Hoshi wo Tsugu Mono' (Sub title roughly means 'The one who inherits the stars'). Origtinally 'Z' (read 'Zeta') was the TV series made in 1985 as the first sequel to the original 'Gundam'. In 2005, it's recut as a theatrical feature with newly added scenes. - U.C.0087, 7 years after the end of One Year War (which marks the end of the original series). A group of elites who were attracted their soul by the gravity of the earth formed Titans which has established itself as a major player in both politics and military balance. To resist Titans, spacenoids formed an organization called A.E.U.G. They know Titans are developping new mobile suit Gundam Mk-II in space colony Green Noah. A bunch of soldiers of A.E.U.G. are sent to retrieve detailed information, or if possible, Mk-II itself. The leader of the mission is Quatro Basina, whose former identity is none other than Char Aznable, Zion's legendary pilot known as Red Comet. In Green Noah, a sensitive boy Camille Bidan causes a serious trouble by hitting a Titans officer Jerido Messa. Camille is taken to Titans' headquarter. But the test run of Gundam Mk-II causes an accident, which enables Camille to escape. When Camille gets in Mk-II to shoot Titans MPs. Quatro senses he's on their side. Guided by Quatro, Camille goes to A.E.U.G.'s spaceship Argama. |
