|
| The second of Nikkatsu studios' three attempts to revive the success of 1974's Hana to Hebi in the face of mounting competition from the adult video market, following the previous year's Hana to Hebi: Jigoku-hen which was also directed by Shogoro Nishimura. This installment, ostensibly based on a novel by the popular Oniroku Dan, is little more than a continual parade of S & M set pieces featuring the pulchritudinous Ran Masaki as a dentist's nurse who quickly finds herself strapped in the chair for some dental torture and sustained cinematic ogling of her 52-inch bust as she writhes in pain. Minako Ogawa co-stars in this middle episode of the series, which concluded with the following year's Hana to Hebi: Kyukyoku Nawa Chokyo. |
