| The series title roughly means 'Tales of Extraordinary'. Theatrical version made for the 10th anniversary of episodic TV series. 4 episodes. Ep.1: 'Yukiyama' (Snow Mountain): Survivors of an airplane crash in a mountain reached a cabin and wait for the rescue. But they left one girl behind on the way. Ep.2: 'Keitai Chuushingura' is based on the famous '47 Ronin' story. Kuranosuke finds a weird device - a mobile telephone. Ep.3: 'Chess': An ex-world champion of chess accepted the challenge from a rich old man. But the game uses real humans to kill each other on the giant board. Ep.4: 'Kekkon Simulator' (Marriage Simulator): Two young lovers try a new virtual reality program which simulates a life after the marriage based on various informations such as clients' DNA analysis. |
