| PLOT SYNOPSIS for Macross II: Lovers, Again |
|
| OVA. Japanese full title is 'Chou Jikuu Yousai Macross II: Lovers, Again'. Complete 6 episodes. Countless years have passed since the battle with giant extraterrestrials, the Zentraedi. The space battleship Macross, which once saved Earth, has been worn out. Mankind once again prosper with the Zentraedi dwarfed to the same size as mankind. Hibiki, a TV reporter in charge of scandals, happens to report the battle between the United Forces and aliens having invaded into the Solar system. In order to catch a scene of a Minmay attack, the most effective attack against the song-disturbed Zentraedi, Hibiki flies in a civilian Valkyrie. However, instead, Hibiki witnesses corps of the United Forces being defeated by the enemy one after another. In confusion, Hibiki intrudes into a wrecked enemy battleship, where he encounters a beautiful girl, Ishter. Why is she on the Zentraedi's ship? This encounter is the beginning of another story of Macross. Vol.1 includes 6 episodes.
