| TV anime series based on Konami's PlayStation2 game 'Z.O.E'. James Links, age 49. (He stresses he is not 50 yet.) Once an officer of UN Military, but now he's a carrier between Earth and Mars with the spaceship Ender. He lost his wife Rachel by the 'accident' on Mars' sattelite 5 years ago. It tears his family apart. His son Leon left him, blaming James for Rachel's death. His daughter Noel feels her mother found the job more important than the family. But James is suspicious about the official explanation of the 'accident' - since Racheal was an important scientist of the project there. Ever since, he's been investigating by hisself. He found notthing but there was definitely some cover-up by the military. One day, James is offered a job to carry a cargo from Mars to Earth. En route to Earth, he hears some lullaby singing from the inside of the container. It is a lullaby which Racheal loved to sing. When he opens the cargo, he finds an 'Orbital Frame' (a kind of robot) which identifies itself as 'Dolores'. Mysteriously, Dolores knows James' name and calls him 'man of my destitiny'. 2 episodes. 13-volume series. |
