| PLOT SYNOPSIS for Lupin the Third: Return of Pycal [Ltd. Edition w/ CD] |
 |
| [TMS DVD Collection] aka 'Lupin the 3rd' or 'Lupin The 3rd', based on comics by Monkey Punch. Japanese episode title is 'Ikiteita Majutsushi'. This made-for-DVD episode is the sequel to Ep.2 in the original TV series in 1971, which features the character named Pycal. - In Greece, there are legendary 7 'Celestial Crystals'. Lupin III comes to the Mediterranean to steal one of them from a millionaire's house. Although he gets the crystal successfully, he is intercepted by Inspector Zenigata. He says 'Give it to me. It's no use for you.' To his surprise, Zenigata throws fire on him. Also, Lupin finds strong hatred in Zenigata's eyes. 'It's not Zenigata whom I know.' Later, Lupin III is visited by Fujiko. She tells who 'Zenigata' really was. It was Pycal, aka 'The Wizard', who was supposed to be killed by Lupin III years ago. Pycal has been collecting the crystals, and already got some of them. When he gets all 7 crystals, somehow he can get amazing power. Also, there's no doubt Pycal seeks his revenge on Lupin III. |
