|
| 'Seven Samurai' (1954, 207 min.) - A 16th century farm community hires a band of rogue samurai warriors to defend itself from a marauding army. 'The Hidden Fortress' (1958, 139 min.) - A general and a princess must dodge enemy clans while smuggling the royal treasure with two bumbling peasants at their sides. 'Yojimbo' (1961, 110 min.) - In order to rid a village of corruption, masterless samurai Sanjuro turns a territory war between two evil clans to his own advantage. 'Sanjuro' (1962, 92 min.) - A jaded samurai helps a group of idealistic young warriors weed out their clan's evil inluences in this companion piece to 'Yojimbo.' |
