 |
| Hanshin Tigers is a baseball team of which franchise is Osaka/Kobe area. Yet, the team has been one of the weakest in the league in the last 20 years or so... - The summer of 200X. Hanshin Tigers is at the good positioin in the league. Mr. Rookie, a mysterious pitcher who puts on the mask of tiger has been doing the outstanding jobs as the closer. Strangely, he shows up only at the franchise stadium. And nothing is known about his identity. Mr. Rookie is actually an ordinary 32-year old businessman, Kouji Oohara. Kouji damaged his shoulder when he was in high school. It forced him to give up to play baseball. But one day, with a special massage treatment, he regained his ability to pitch a ball at high speed. Segawa, the manager of Tigers, happened to know his ability and was fascinated. Segawa persuaded Kouji to join Tigers. But Kouji had no intention to quit the company and change his life. He was happy as the way it was. He didn't want to leave his family often touring around the country. So Segawa proposed 'How about part-time player? Only at the franchise?' |
