| PLOT SYNOPSIS for Sentou Yousei Yukikaze - Operation:2 |
|
| OVA based on the novel by Chouhei Kanbayashi. (The title roughly means 'Combat sylph Yukikaze (snow-wind)'.) - Yukikaze ejected Rei since he was seriously injured. While he is in coma, Col. Booker continues the test of newly developped FRX-00, which was basically FRX-99 with cockpit added. Col. Gunaud claims the project is waste of resourses, since he believes manned fighter is obosolete. Col. Booker objects 'It's human who is fighting, not machines.' Neverthless, automated weapon systems are under development by superiors of FAF and the central computer. One day, a team of FAF fighters suffer engine troubles during the battle with Jam. FRX-00, which was high above for scouting at the time, comes down to destroy Jam. But suddenly, FRX-00 begins to attack one of FAF's bases... |
